Bursaries
The college provides financial support to qualifying and deserving students. Students are encouraged to read the NSFAS guidelines and understand the minimum requirements to be eligible for funding.
Criteria to Qualify for NSFAS Bursary
- Only South African citizens are eligible for the bursary scheme.
- Applicants must be registered or intend to register for PLP, NCV, Report 191, or approved occupational programmes at a public TVET College.
- Must be financially needy (NSFAS determines eligibility).
- Returning students must demonstrate acceptable academic performance per the college progression policy or NSFAS guidelines.
- Applicants must not duplicate a state-funded qualification they already received.
- Combined gross family income must not exceed R500,000 per annum.
Application Cycles
NCV bursaries are open annually via online applications. Semester and trimester bursary cycles follow the official DHET academic calendar.
